Over the last 5 years we have put nearly 4 million miles on our 33 Peterbilt front wheel drive, Axleless® low-floor Marmon-Herrington trucks. And, without the need for lift gates, we have been able to load and unload the City’s 60 to 90 gallon refuse and recycle containers much faster and with just 1 worker …not the 2 that were needed with our conventional trucks. And best of all, we have fewer on-the-job injuries with our low-floor trucks. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new Ford Axleless® low-floor trucks that we just recently ordered.
